Aerial views of the canopy installation for TRON Lightcycle Run at the Magic Kingdom

Recently, Disney shared an update on the construction of TRON Lightcycle Run at the Magic Kingdom. They showed off the first segment of nearly 40 pieces that will make up the ride’s signature canopy. Now, we have a fresh aerial view of the progress and how the canopy is starting to take shape.

The always awesome @bioreconstruct flew high above the Magic Kingdom and revealed the work to cover the exterior portion of the ride’s track.

It’s great to see work speeding along on TRON Lightcycle Run while other Disney projects encounter delays or cancellations. The coaster was originally expected to open in 2021, but Disney has not announced an official date at this time.
