Disney has announced their nighttime entertainment schedule for Disneyland Park in the first half of 2024. The year will start with the return of Mickey’s Mix Magic before Wondrous Journeys returns for a short period March 22 through April 14, 2024.
Here’s the upcoming nighttime entertainment calendar at Disneyland Park:
Mickey’s Mix Magic
January 8, 2024 – March 21, 2024
April 15, 2024 – April 25, 2024
Wondrous Journeys
March 22, 2024 – April 14, 2024
Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular
April 26, 2024 – August 4, 2024
Disney also announced that the fan-favorite Magic Happens parade will return on February 2, 2024.
Disney’s decision to bring back Wondrous Journeys will be celebrated by Disney fans. The show is outstanding, and in many ways feels like Disneyland’s version of the Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom.
But, it’s a bit disappointing to see Wondrous Journeys having such a limited return run while Mickey’s Mix Magic has significantly more dates. The Mickey’s Mix Magic show pales in comparison to Wondrous Journeys, and lacks the emotional punch we love in Disney spectaculars.
Hopefully Wondrous Journeys receives more dates at Disneyland in the near future.
