Where Is the Best Restroom in the Magic Kingdom?

Updated:

The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is one of the most popular theme parks in the world. As a result, you can expect there to be a lot of people and a lot of options when it comes to eating, drinking, and finding a restroom.

Best Restroom in Magic Kingdom

Our pick is the Tangled Restroom area that’s located in Fantasyland near Liberty Square. You can find the Tangled restrooms near the ‘it’s a small world’ attraction on the walkway connecting Liberty Square to Fantasyland.

The Tangled Restroom area is themed to all things Rapunzel and Tangled, but that’s not the only reason why it’s at the top of our list. The restrooms are extremely large and are some of the newest in all of Walt Disney World. They are often the cleanest in the Magic Kingdom and feature little-to-no waits thanks to their size. Granted, things get a lot busier on the Magic Kingdom’s most crowded days, such as on major holidays, but that’s to be expected.

We have used these restrooms almost exclusively on our many Magic Kingdom visits as they feel like a step above the other more crowded and often less clean restrooms around the park.

Honorable Mentions

The Tangled restrooms are the clear best restrooms in Magic Kingdom, but they may not always be the most practical if you’re on the other side of the park.

We recommend the restrooms near Gaston’s Tavern as they’re secluded and often very quiet. The restrooms next to Pirates of the Caribbean are tucked away, and easy to overlook, making them a nice option as well. If you’re on the other side of the park near Tomorrowland, the restrooms in the Tomorrowland Terrace are a good bet. Note that the Tomorrowland Terrace hosts dessert parties at night, meaning this option only works during the day.

Restrooms to Avoid in Magic Kingdom

Not every restroom is created equal. Some suffer due to their location. We don’t recommending using these Magic Kingdom restrooms unless you don’t have a choice.

The restrooms near the Casey Jr. splash pad area and the Fantasyland Railroad station are ones to avoid. Because of their proximity to the splash pad, there’s a lot of children tracking in water into the bathroom. The floors are often extremely wet and a bit slippery, and there’s often a musty smell.

We also can’t recommend the Cheshire Cafe restrooms. Maybe we’ve just had bad luck, but these restrooms have always been crowded and very dirty.
