Disney’s newest cruise shape is shaping up to be a dream for Marvel fans. Disney Cruise Line has revealed that a lounge on the Disney Destiny will be themed to the New York Sanctum made famous by Dr. Strange.

Guests will discover unique design details inspired by the shapes and symbols of the sorcerers’ Rune Shields, along with familiar icons like the Cloak of Levitation and spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj.

The lounge will serve a variety of cocktails, mocktails, coffees, and more. Of course, the menu will have notes to the mystic arts with some clever mixology and creative presentations. And waffles! The Sanctum will have stuffed waffles that will help those cocktails go down easy.
The Sanctum lounge will be centrally located on the Disney Destiny. Based on the concept art, it looks like this lounge will sit in the same location as the Skipper Society Lounge on the Disney Treasure. Skipper Society is on Deck 3 on the Disney Treasure, which is a bit of a polarizing location as it’s surrounded by hallways and shopping.
Disney didn’t reveal what lounge will go into the space occupied by the Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Treasure. It seems possible we’ll see the Haunted Mansion Parlor again, but Disney hasn’t confirmed one way or the other.
The Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025.
