Disney is planning to refurbish select rooms at Disney’s Yacht Club resort in early 2025. Some rooms at the resort will be refurbished beginning in January 2025 and lasting through May. No specific details have been released about how extensive the refurbishment will be or what the updated rooms will look like.
Disney has put a notice on their website warning guests may hear construction during daytime hours.
From January through May 2025, some Guest rooms at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will be under refurbishment. While Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours, most Resort hotel amenities will remain available.
The Yacht Club’s room refurbishment will be taking place alongside the refurbishment of the resort’s Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool. The massive (and awesome) pool complex is also scheduled to be closed January through May 2025. It’s a big loss for guests as Stormalong Bay is arguably one of the best features of both the Yacht and Beach Club resorts. It’s also our pick for the best pool in Disney World.
While we don’t know how extensive the room updates will be, it’s clear there’s going to be a lot of construction at the Yacht Club in early 2025. Guests should be aware of the primary pool closure and construction noise before booking during this time period.
