Video: The “please stand clear of the doors” Monorail announcement got stuck on a loop

Updated:

If you’re a serious fan of Disney World, you’re more than familiar with the “Please stand clear of the doors” announcement on the Monorail. You may even know the Spanish “ยกPor favor mantรฉngase alejado de las puertas!” version by heart. But what if you had to hear the announcement for your entire trip on the Monorail?

That’s exactly what happened recently with the audio getting stuck on a loop, as heard in the video below.

It may be one of the most famous – if not the most famous – announcement in all of Disney World. That point aside, hearing it repeatedly on even the shortest of rides may drive you crazy.

Though this is an extremely minor issue, it does add more fuel to the fire saying Disney needs to invest in new Monorails. At the very least, it’s good it was only the audio that got stuck and not the door getting stuck open.
