Video: Guests experience Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway without any effects or sounds

Updated:

Guests riding Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway had a rather bizarre experience when the ride failed to display its animations, effects or sounds. It appeared that the ride vehicles failed to set off the sensors that kick off the scenes, resulting in guests seeing the static endings to each area.

If you’ve seen the cartoon chaos that is Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, you’ll understand how strange this is. Usually there’s so much happening around the ride vehicles that it’s almost impossible to take everything in. It’s almost peaceful to see the endings to the various scenes and the backdrops that transition things between guests.

Unfortunately, even the newest and most advanced Disney rides will go through their issues. Hopefully the guests that witnessed this strange sight were able to ride again once everything was working correctly.
