Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is set to open on March 31, 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. To date, we’ve known that guests will come face-to-face with Lightning McQueen in a theater that’s wrapped by a screen that’s nearly two stories high.
Now, Jay Ward, the Creative Director of the Pixar Cars Franchise, has revealed some new details about the attraction.
Unfortunately, there isn’t any new footage from inside the ride itself. However, we did learn that Lightning McQueen will interact with guests in attendance. That makes it sound like the experience will have some similarities to Turtle Talk with Crush over at Epcot, albeit on a much larger scale.
