Time is running out to experience a small slice of Municiberg and the world of The Incredibles at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Incredibles Celebration at Pixar Place, the name for the transformation of the old Pixar Place into an Incredibles themed party, is scheduled to end on September 30, 2019.
In addition to the end of the Incredible Celebration, the events that will wrap up at the end of September include seeing Mickey and Minnie in their celebration outfits at the Magic Kingdom, the final show of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot and the end of the Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The Incredible Celebration features a dance party with your favorite Supers, a meet-and-greet with Edna Mode, some photo oppprtunities and everyone’s favorite Num Num Cookie. While The Incredibles addition always appeared to be temporary, it’s a bit surprising to see it end just a month after the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. One would imagine that Disney’s Hollywood Studios will want (or need) all of its attractions up and running in order to accommodate the large crowds expected for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Most importantly, what does this mean for the delicious Num Num Cookie? Surely they won’t take this treat away from us … right?
Look for this location to become a backstage area once the Incredible Celebration ends.
