The Disney Skyliner Will Close for Maintenance in January 2024

The Disney Skyliner will close for routine maintenance in early 2024. Beginning January 16, 2024, the Disney Skyliner will close all of its lines that transport guests around Walt Disney World.

As maintenance is completed, the Disney Skyliner’s three lines will reopen in stages. Here’s the schedule as reported by Scott Gustin.

Closed January 16-21:

  • Disney’s Pop Century & Disney’s Art of Animation to Disney’s Caribbean Beach
  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Closed January 16-27:

  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach to Disney’s Riviera Resort to EPCOT

Disney will offer bus transportation for guests at resorts impacted by the Disney Skyliner closure.

This upcoming closure in January 2024 continues the trend of Disney closing the system for a portion of January each year to perform routine maintenance. Guests planning a future January stay at a resort serviced by the Disney Skyliner should probably expect it will be out of service for a chunk of the month.
