Epcot’s American Adventure Pavilion will see some significant dining changes in the very near future. Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue will replace the Liberty Inn as a new fast-casual dining location featuring barbecue and craft brews on tap.
Liberty Inn will close on July 8, 2019 in order to start preparing this redesigned dining experience. The patio area outside will also be overhauled in the upcoming months to go along with the interior changes.

“The new location will be a modern barbecue smokehouse, with all the accompanying sights, sounds, smells and flavors you love – including a large smoker preparing fine food every day right on the pavilion’s promenade.”

Summarized, Epcot is trading in fairly traditional quick-service menu items at The American Adventure Pavilion in favor of a menu that leans heavily into American barbecue. The change makes plenty of thematic sense as few things go together quite as well as America, barbecue and fireworks. If apple pie makes an appearance on the menu, Epcot will have an iconic American summer picnic available for guests any day they visit.
An official opening date hasn’t been announced at this time.
