Plexiglass dividers added to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Updated:

Disney is steadily increasing capacity at many of its attractions at Walt Disney World. They’re accomplishing this by seating every row in ride vehicles and allowing multiple groups to sit together on select attractions.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has had new plexiglass dividers added to its seats to allow for multiple groups. Disney has said that a maximum of two groups will be seated together in the cockpit, but guests can still request to be seated separately.

The addition of plexiglass dividers at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run mimics what’s been in place since October over at Rise of the Resistance. The change allows for a significant increase in capacity, but it comes at a reduction of the previous health and safety measures.

Guests should expect additional capacity changes in the future. Disney appears content to scale back their initial safety measures as demand grows into 2021.
