Photos: A quick look inside the Battle Escape ride in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Updated:

Theย Galactic Nights presentation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios offered a quick glimpse of what’s inside the Battle Escape ride at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Specifically, a couple slides in the presentation show the AT-ATs that sit within the attraction.

Thanks to @bioreconstruct, the photos at the top of the page and below show the immense scale of the AT-ATs that guests will see during the ride.

There’s still a lot of work to do on the attraction, as well as on Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as a whole, but things are looking really good.

In addition to the photos, some more ride details were also discussed during the presentation. Some light spoilers ahead for those who want to go into the ride blind.

Guests will first board a Resistance transport ship, but will be captured by the First Order before making it to their destination. Then, the guests (and the Resistance) will have to escape from the Star Destroyer.

Battle Escape is sounding like it will either be a two-part ride, or a ride that has such an integral pre-show that it will feel like a two-part ride.

Disney World’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is scheduled to open in late 2019.
