On-ride photos now taken at the Haunted Mansion

Guests now have a new way to remember their journey through the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World. Beginning April 2, 2019, a new on-ride photo will capture your journey through the home of 999 happy haunts.

There won’t be any photo preview stations near the exit of the ride. If you’re wearing a MagicBand, the photo will be automatically added to your Disney account.

The addition of the Haunted Mansion as a PhotoPass location marks the 13th attraction in Walt Disney World that offers the service. Pretty perfect, right?

Based on the image provided by Disney, the photo will use night vision and will incorporate any kind of flash into a scene that already features lightning. Some spooky ghouls will be automatically added in around your photo, just in case you wanted them to follow you home.

Walt Disney World plans to celebrate the addition of the Haunted Mansion as a PhotoPass location with a “few special opportunities” around the attraction on April 13, 2019.
