New paint scheme in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom

Updated:

Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom is going through a period of transition. With the new Tron coaster expected to be completed within the next few years, the aesthetics of the area are going to change in a major way. To prepare, Tomorrowland as a whole is altering its appearance.

The new Tomorrowland paint scheme appears to be full of blues, white and gray. Showcase of Wishes on Twitter took some photos of the areas that have already received some new paint.

Here’s a closer look:

The blue and white theme is expected to be carried throughout the land, matching the overall color scheme of the new Tron building.

Overall, the new colors look pretty sharp. More changes are expected in Tomorrowland, with many of the old colors being replaced with the new blue and white look. Some theming elements (think some of the metal pieces attached to the buildings) may be removed to add a cleaner, sharper look to the area. However, it’s not clear exactly how significant the changes may or may not be at this time.

What do you think of the new colors?
