The 15-story tower that’s coming to Coronado Springs Resort has some new concept art and an announced window for when it will open. Coming in Summer 2019, the tower will add 545 guest rooms, a rooftop table-service restaurant and much more to the resort.
The concept art below appears to show the new two-level lobby that will serve as the main hub for the tower.
With the addition of the tower comes a new over-the-water restaurant that guests can access through connecting boardwalks.
It’s difficult to review concept art as it’s always subject to change, but it is clear Disney is moving Coronado Springs Resort into a new direction thematically. The exterior of the building is a stark contract to the theming originally found around the resort.
The photo below shows the most recent look at the tower and the over-the-water restaurant coming to Coronado Springs Resort, taken within the last week.
