Mobile Checkout is expanding to more stores at Walt Disney World

Updated:

Disney is expanding its mobile checkout service at more Walt Disney World stores. The option allows guests to bypass the checkout lines and complete their purchase entirely through the My Disney Experience app.

Mobile checkout is currently offered at the following locations:

  • World of Disney at Disney Springs
  • Creations Shop at Epcot
  • Emporium at Magic Kingdom (Just added)

Disney announced that more retail locations will be added in the near future. Those include:

  • Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Coming soon)
  • Island Mercantile at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Coming soon)

Once mobile checkout is rolled out to these two locations, the service will be offered in each of Walt Disney World’s four theme parks. We’d expect mobile checkout to continue to expand as it greatly reduces lines and gives Disney more flexibility with its cast members.
