Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza receives new dark blue paint and gold accents

Updated:

The Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza is receiving a facelift ahead of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. Crews have started painting the Toll Plaza with a dark blue paint that more closely matches the new look of Cinderella Castle. They’re also adding in new gold accents to celebrate the milestone.

Big thanks to @DCBaker at WDWMagic for sharing a great look at the new paint.

Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza New Paint

The dark blue paint looks great! We think it has a more regal appearance compared to the original light blue color scheme that can be seen at the right of the photo. Meanwhile, the gold accents – which you can see on the booths themselves – look far more polished compared to the faded yellow.

While opinions on Cinderella Castle’s new look continue to vary, it’s hard to find any flaws with the update to the Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza. The area was in need of some touchups and we think this color scheme fits the bill.
