Local Orlando bands will perform during the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

Disney has released new details for the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. In addition to releasing all of the outdoor kitchen menus, Disney revealed that live entertainment will once again be a staple of the festival.

Local bands from around the Orlando area will perform on the America Gardens Theatre stage during the festival. The “City Beautiful” bands will play Friday through Monday evenings and will cover classic and modern songs.

The Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will run March 3, 2021 through July 5, 2021.

Below is the statement on entertainment from Disney’s announcement:

“Also new for this year’s festival are some tasty musical morsels for your ears! Each weekend, you can enjoy a series of concerts featuring local bands from Orlando, also known as the “City Beautiful.” Friday through Monday evenings, these “City Beautiful” bands will take the stage at America Gardens Theatre to perform popular songs of yesterday and today.”

Highlighting local bands is a great move by Disney. Not only does it give exposure and support to local acts, it’s a smart way to provide entertainment without creating huge crowds. The usual Garden Rocks Concert Series normally featured larger acts who are probably A) not touring right now and B) would draw problematic crowds.

Look for these local Orlando acts on the American Pavilion’s stage beginning March 5.
