Select attractions will take on a special holiday feel during the 2019 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party events. For the first time ever, the Tomorrowland Speedway, Space Mountain, Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor and the Mad Tea Party will become a festive source of holiday cheer.
As announced by the Disney Parks Blog, the Tomorrowland Speedway will transform through thousands of lights and winter decor. Space Mountain will adopt dazzling lighting and some upbeat holiday music. The Mad Tea Party will also use its specialized lighting, as seen during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, to pump up the holiday fun. Finally, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor will debut a new show centered around all things Christmas.
We’ve seen similar changes and overlays used in the past for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but this is the first time they’ve been used specifically for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It’s also worth noting that the Jungle Cruise will still transform into the Jingle Cruise, but that’s not exclusive to the party.
Don’t forget that this year’s Christmas parties will also feature a brand new fireworks show that will make full use of the state-of-the-art projection technology on Cinderella Castle.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will run on select nights between November 8 and December 22, 2019.
