Festive Music Will Play on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind This Holiday Season

Disney has announced all of their festive plans for the 2022 holiday season at Walt Disney World. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns to the Magic Kingdom and the beloved Candlelight Processional will return to EPCOT. One bit of new holiday fun is at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind where guests will hear “seasonal jams” during their ride.

Below is Disney’s announcement on the holiday music coming to Cosmic Rewind.

This season, the Guardians will trade in their classic hits playlist for a mash-up of seasonal jams at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. Guests will blast off to the tune of an awesome holiday single, bringing joy to Xandar and Terra, too.

Disney did not mention when the holiday music will be added to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. They also didn’t specify which song(s) will be selected, though it’s possible they’re still making that decision internally.

We’ve previously mentioned in our spoiler-free Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind review that the ride’s use of different songs greatly enhances the experience. You never know which of the six songs you might get and it becomes a bit of a quest to hear them all.

The ability to swap songs in and out should greatly improve the lifespan of Cosmic Rewind, and we can’t wait to hear some holiday tunes while saving the galaxy.
