Epcot’s online map updated to remove Club Cool, Fountain View and the Character Spot

Updated:

Big changes are starting to take shape at Epcot. Shortly after Club Cool, the Fountain View and the Character Spot were officially closed, construction walls have gone up and the online map for the park has been updated to remove these old locations.

Take a look at Epcot’s map as seen in the My Disney Experience app. Note that the website’s map for the park hasn’t been updated as of the publication of this article.

Unfortunately, guests shouldn’t expect to see a ton of green space in the former homes of Club Cool, Fountain View and the Character Spot. Instead, they should start seeing work begin to remove the old buildings before construction on Epcot’s new festival pavilion begins in the rough area where Club Cool once resided.

Construction walls will be a staple of Epcot’s future over the next few years. Which change are you the most excited about?
