Disney’s Hollywood Studios will continue to open early to accommodate guests hoping to experience Rise of the Resistance and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The park’s hours have been extended to open at 8:00am through March 14, 2020.
The earlier hours were initially adopted when Rise of the Resistance opened and a virtual boarding process was deployed. The fact large crowds continue to show up for Rise of the Resistance combined with the upcoming March 4 opening for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway has led Disney to again extend their operating hours.
Hoping to ride Rise of the Resistance or Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway? Your best bet for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is to try and secure a FastPass+ reservation (these are live now!). For Rise of the Resistance, we recommend you follow our five tips to secure a virtual boarding pass. The 8:00am openings mean you should be arriving to Disney’s Hollywood Studios by at least 7:30am to make sure your entire group is in the park prior to the official opening time when the boarding groups go live.
