Disney World thanks its annual passholders, assures the magic will still be there

Updated:

Walt Disney World is currently preparing to start reopening select resorts on June 22 and its theme parks on July 11 and July 15. Ahead of welcoming back guests, Disney sent a note to its annual passholders regarding the need to adjust to unprecedented times and a promise that the magic will still be there throughout the changes.

The message in its entirety can be viewed below:

Dear Valued Passholder,
Soon itโ€™ll be time to return to the enchantment. To laugh. To wish. To dream. To once again sing along with a small world. Journey to a galaxy far, far away. Conquer Everest. And sail through a Frozen land.

But first, we wanted to offer our most sincere thanks. For your patience. For your trust. For always keeping the magic in your hearts. And for being some of our most cherished fans.

As we adjust to these unprecedented times, the Theme Park experience will understandably be different from what it was when you last visited. At least for the time being. But one very important thing will remain the same: the magic will still be there. And we could all use some of that!

Thanks again. For everything.

Weโ€™ll be sure to stay in touch. Sincerely, Your Walt Disney World Resort Family

Disney’s message is one of reassurance and hope ahead of their reopening. It’s also subtly reminding guests that the Walt Disney World they visited before the pandemic will not be the same one they visit when the parks first reopen. Entertainment such as fireworks, parades and more will be cancelled to maintain social distancing.

Some of the “magic” of the Disney bubble will take a backseat to new safety regulations. But, many annual passholders are eager to return in the hopes a Disney visit will help make things feel a bit more normal during these uncertain times.
