Disney Magic Converting Select Staterooms Into Concierge Staterooms

Disney Cruise Line is making some changes to select staterooms on the Disney Magic. A total of 11 staterooms will be transformed into concierge staterooms, as reported by the Disney Cruise Line Blog.

The 11 staterooms are currently classified as Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah on Deck 8. The rooms will soon become Concierge Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah. The furniture and amenities within the staterooms will be upgraded to match the other concierge staterooms on the Disney Magic.

The addition of more concierge staterooms (and guests) on the Disney Magic raises questions about the existing Concierge Lounge. The Disney Magic’s Concierge Lounge isn’t the biggest (that title belongs to the massive concierge lounge on the Disney Wish), and this change will add even more guests to the space.

There’s speculation that Disney Cruise Line might make some changes to the Concierge Lounge on the Disney Magic, similar to the changes the Disney Wonder saw several years ago. Disney has not announced or confirmed any changes in this area at this time.
