Disney announces reopening dates for more resorts at Walt Disney World

Updated:

Ahead of Walt Disney World reopening its DVC resorts and Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on June 22, Disney has announced reopening dates for additional resorts through the month of October 2020. Disney notes that some resorts are not currently scheduled to reopen at this time due to the ongoing situation.

So, which resorts at Walt Disney World will be open and when will they reopen? Let’s take a look. Note that all of these dates are subject to change as Disney monitors COVID-19 in the state of Florida.

Some of the resorts mentioned above have delayed reopening dates due to their involvement with the NBA and the conclusion of its season at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports complex. In order to maintain player health and safety, those resorts won’t be ready to welcome back guests until the NBA has departed.

Among the missing hotels are Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort and the non-DVC portion of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

As with anything COVID-19 related, these dates are subject to change at Disney’s discretion.
