The 2019 edition of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will feature a brand new fireworks show that will replace HalloWishes. The new fireworks spectacular will be called Disneyโs Not-So-Spooky Spectacular and will include lasers, projections, special lighting and – of course – fireworks.
In addition to the name being announced, Disney has also revealed some new details about the fireworks spectacular.
Jack Skellington from Tim Burtonโs โThe Nightmare Before Christmasโ serves as the host of this all-new nighttime extravaganza, with state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks filling the sky above Magic Kingdom Park. Jack has come to tell a not-so-scary story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. Jackโs ghost dog, Zero, then flies off carrying everyone along on a trick-or-treating adventure, where four friends โ Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy โ find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house.

Disney also mentioned that Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy will encounter various Disney villains as they travel through the rooms in the haunted house. Using the same state-of-the-art projection technology that makes Happily Ever After so incredible, we can imagine Cinderella Castle depicting some fun scenes throughout the haunted house.
Given the immense popularity of the The Nightmare Before Christmas, the inclusion of Jack Skellington as the host makes a lot of sense. Disney guests can not get enough of Tim Burton’s 1993 classic!
Guests can see the new Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular on select nights between August 16 and November 1, 2019.
