Crystal Arts store at the Magic Kingdom receiving external refurbishment

Updated:

The Crystal Arts store at the Magic Kingdom is currently receiving what appears to be a fairly extensive external refurbishment. The photo above, courtesy of WDWMagic.com, shows that the entire building is now hidden behind decorative scrim.

Despite the scrim wrapping the building, guests at the Magic Kingdom may still visit the shop.

While it is nice to see the outside of the Crystal Arts building receiving some love, Main Street U.S.A. has had some form of scrim up for what seems like the last couple of years. Work never ends when it comes to maintaining buildings exposed to the Florida elements, but it’s a bummer to see Main Street U.S.A. consistently covered in scrim.

Hopefully the work on the building can be completed in a timely fashion.
