Construction Continues Around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure remains covered in scaffolding at Magic Kingdom. Construction crews have been working around the old home of Splash Mountain to transform the attraction into the home of Tiana.

Guests in the area can see Tiana’s Bayou Adventure covered in scaffolding. Crews have been reshaping and painting the extensive rock work that forms the attraction’s exterior.

Many thanks to @bioreconstruct for these new pictures.

The view from the bridge shows a mass of scaffolding surrounding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The old tree stump on the top of Splash Mountain has been removed.

We can see how extensive the work is around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure from the sky. Work is taking place all throughout the attraction to bring the bayou to what’s currently known as Frontierland.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is scheduled to open at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland in 2024. The new attraction promises to have “dozens” of new audio-animatronics, familiar characters from the movie, and a brand-new cast of original Disney characters.
