Cast Compliment Feature Updated in the My Disney Experience App

Date:

Disney has pushed an update to the My Disney Experience app that greatly improves the Cast Compliment feature. Now, guests wishing to praise a friendly or memorable cast member through the app can include the cast member’s name, hometown and the date of the interaction.

Below are the new fields that were added to the Cast Compliment section.

New cast compliment fields

Previously, we noted that the Cast Compliment section only allowed guests to send vague information to Disney. For example, if you had a great experience with a cast member named Erica at Regal Eagle Smokehouse at Epcot, you could only say you had a great experience Dining in World Showcase. You couldn’t include the cast member’s name or any specific details.

This is a great change and now individual cast members – rather than broad departments – can be recognized for their outstanding service.
