A car accidentally drove down the steps at Wilderness Lodge Resort

Wilderness Lodge Resort was the site of a strange incident as a car drove down the stairs just outside of the main entrance. The car appeared to be stuck on the steps and waiting to be removed by a tow truck.

A view from a different angle shows the car’s steep angle down the steps.

The photo has been edited to protect everyone’s privacy.

Our best guess is the guest thought the steps were actually a ramp and tried to use it to exit the main entrance area. Obviously, it isn’t a ramp but the realization of that may have come too late. It’s also possible this was a slip of the foot on the gas pedal, but the angle at which the car is positioned suggests the driver may have intentionally headed in this direction.

Thankfully, it doesn’t sound like there were any injuries in this bizarre accident.
