Construction walls are still up around Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe inside the Magic Kingdom as work continues on a new covered outdoor seating area near the Tomorrowland Speedway.
As you can see in the photo above from Blog Mickey, the outdoor dining area will soon have an overhang that will protect diners from the elements. A similar project was completed near the end of 2017 on another outdoor seating section of Cosmic Ray’s, and it appears this area will be very similar.
This is a strong improvement for those eating at Cosmic Ray’s. The previous outdoor seating areas were often in the hot sun or in one of the regular Florida storms, forcing guests to eat indoors. Now, once this second outdoor section is complete, guests at the Magic Kingdom will have another outdoor location to eat their meals.
