All Ride Height Requirements at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure have a big roster of attractions that entertain guests of all ages. Some rides are more intense than others, and guests must meet a specific height requirement before boarding.

Be aware of all of the height requirements at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure before planning your next trip! You can also see all of the height requirements at Walt Disney World’s theme parks.

Disneyland Park Height Requirements

  • Autopia – 32 inches or taller when accompanied by another rider 54 inches or taller
  • Autopia – 54 inches or taller to ride alone
  • Gadget’s Go Coaster – 35 inches
  • Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 38 inches
  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – 40 inches
  • Space Mountain – 40 inches
  • Splash Mountain – 40 inches
  • Star Tours – 40 inches
  • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 40 inches
  • Matterhorn Bobsleds – 42 inches
  • Indiana Jones Adventure – 46 inches

Note that not all Disneyland Park attractions are listed here because so many don’t have any height requirements. Many of Disneyland Park’s iconic attractions, such as their many dark rides, may be enjoyed by guests of any age.

Disney California Adventure Height Requirements

  • Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree – 32 inches
  • Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters – 32 inches
  • Jumpin’ Jellyfish – 40 inches
  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission BREAKOUT! – 40 inches
  • Radiator Springs Racers – 40 inches
  • Silly Symphony Swings (tandem) – 40 inches
  • Soarin’ Around the World – 40 inches
  • Goofy’s Sky School – 42 inches
  • Grizzly River Run – 42 inches
  • Redwood Creek Challenge Trail (rock wall / zip line) – 42 inches
  • Incredicoaster – 48 inches
  • Silly Symphony Swings (single) – 48 inches

As a reminder, height requirements are enforced for guest safety. Guests who do not measure up to the required height may not fit properly or safely into vehicle restraints. Guests shouldn’t try to boost or exaggerate heights at risk of serious injury or being removed from the park.
