Disney Cruise Line named best in the Caribbean and best for families

Updated:

Disney Cruise Line has won its fair share of awards since joining the cruise industry in the mid ’90s. The folks over at U.S. News have added to that tally by naming Disney Cruise Line the best in the Caribbean and the best option for families.

As of November 2018, U.S. News ranks Disney Cruise Line first in the Caribbean, beating out Royal Caribbean and Carnival. Disney’s number of offerings at ports around the Caribbean and incredible private island of Castaway Cay made it the top destination. We will personally vouch for the incredible atmosphere and experiences in Castaway Cay, including the snorkeling adventure. It’s paradise.

U.S. News also selected Disney Cruise Line as the top choice for families, which isn’t a very big surprise. Disney knows how to cater to all ages, from specialized kids clubs to activities that the whole family can enjoy. All entertainment options, save for that in the adults-only sections of the ship, are appropriate for all audiences.

We fully expect to see Disney win more awards and recognition as they prepare to launch three new cruise ships.
