Pools Closing at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort in Early 2026

Disney has announced that the Surfboard Bay Pool and the kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort will be closed in early 2026. Both pools will be closed for maintenance beginning in January 2026 through late April 2026.

During the closure, guests will have access to All-Star Sports’ Grand Slam Leisure Pool. Disney is also allowing all All-Star Sports guests to use the pools at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort during the closure.

Below is the full announcement from Disney:

From January 2026 until late April 2026, the Surfboard Bay Pool and the kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort will be closed for maintenance. During this time, the Grand Slam Leisure Pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports will continue to be available. Additionally, Guests are welcome to use the other pools throughout Disney’s All-Star Resorts, including the Calypso Pool, Piano Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort; and the Fantasia Pool, Duck Pond Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.

The Grand Slam Pool isn’t the largest or most exciting pool on Disney property, so we think guests should consider visiting the other All-Star resort pools. Both of the feature pools at All-Star Music and All-Star Movies aren’t too far away, and might be worth checking out for guests planning a pool day.

This upcoming closure in early 2026 continues Disney’s trend of pool refurbishments at the All-Star resorts. The Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will have a similar closure in early 2025.
