Hurricane Milton Closures at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is making preparations ahead of the forecasted arrival of Hurricane Milton this week. Disney appears to be preparing for the worst and is limiting how many guests will be on property during the storm. Milton threatens to have a significant impact on the Orlando area based on its current trajectory.

Below are the official cancellations and closures due to Hurricane Milton. This list will be updated throughout the storm.

Hotel Reservations

  • No new hotel reservations are being accepted for Wednesday, October 9 or Thursday, October 10. By restricting inventory, Disney is ensuring they have space for guests who have to extend their stay due to the storm. This will also keep enough rooms open for cast members who are apart of the ride-out crew.

Theme Park Reservations

  • Disney has blocked out all theme park reservations for Wednesday, October 9.
