Most guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort in Summer 2027 will once again receive free entry to a water park on the first day of their visit. However, one Disney resort won’t be eligible next year – the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will not receive this perk next summer.
The Cabins at Fort Wilderness will still qualify for the benefit even though their nearby campsite neighbors will not. Deluxe, moderate, and value resort guests will continue to qualify for the water park perk in 2027. Disney hasn’t announced when the water park promotion will run next year.
This is a surprising change as the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort were included in the perk for 2026. Campsite guests (and guests at all other Disney resorts) can still take advantage of the free water park entry this summer from May 26 to September 8.
The campsites at Fort Wilderness remain the most affordable way to stay on Disney property. Even though it appears the water park perk is going away for camping guests, the property remains a great value as they still enjoy all other Disney perks at the lowest prices.
