Disney+ Coming to Disney World Resort TVs, But It’s Not Free

Updated:

The in-room TVs at select Walt Disney World resorts will soon have the Disney+ streaming platform built into their interface. The addition of the Disney+ app will make it easier for guests to utilize the service without having to cast from their own device.

However, while the Disney+ app will be on the resort room TVs, guests will need to have a subscription and login in order to watch content. This is simply a change to make it easier for existing subscribers to watch Disney+, and is not an included amenity or perk.

The rollout of Disney+ on resort TVs is expected to be gradual, and availability may vary. Guests should also be aware that they’ll be automatically logged out at the end of their stay. That said, we’d still recommend signing out manually just to be safe.
