DINOSAUR Won’t Close Until 2026 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Updated:

There’s still a good amount of time to enjoy DINOSAUR at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The ride won’t close until 2026 to make way for the Tropical Americas land that will feature Encanto and Indiana Jones.

The Disney Parks Blog announced the DINOSAUR timeline while discussing what’s opening at Disney World in 2025.

While youโ€™re visiting, make sure you โ€œgo get that dinoโ€ at DINOSAUR. Weโ€™ve previously shared this attraction will be closing to make way for the new Tropical Americas land โ€“ 2025 is your year to visit before it goes extinct!

Previously, we learned that the first portion of DinoLand USA was closing in January 2025. Those January closures include TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hesterโ€™s Dinosaur Treasures Gift Shop. But, it sounds like the rest of DinoLand USA will be sticking around throughout 2025.

Disney didn’t mention when the Restaurantosaurus restaurant, our beloved, will close. However, it’s safe to assume it’ll stay open as long as DINOSAUR is open as it serves an important role as one of the “basic” dining options in Animal Kingdom.

With that, make sure you use 2025 to visit Dr. Seeker and go get that dino!
