The virtual queue is ending for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland Park. Guests will need to use the standby line or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane reservation in order to experience the attraction beginning February 22, 2023.

Disney could always reinstate the virtual queue system in the future, such as during peak holiday crowds. This matches Disney’s approach when they dropped the virtual queue for Web Slingers at Disney California Adventure.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway utilized a virtual queue (boarding pass) system when it opened on January 27, 2023. Guests had to try and book a reservation in the Disneyland app during one of two drops each day – 7am and 1pm.
Disneyland dropping the virtual queue already suggests they’re confident the standby line can accommodate guest demand.
