Disney has provided the first official look at Rogers: The Musical, a new stage show that’s set to premiere at Disney California Adventure on June 30, 2023.
The limited-time show is described as a “classic tale for Super Hero fans and guests of all ages follows the journey of Steve Rogers – Captain America, joined by Peggy Carter, Nick Fury and members of the Avengers!”

The concept for the Rogers: The Musical stage show dates back to the Disney+ series Hawkeye. In Hawkeye, Rogers: The Musical is a fictional Broadway show that Clint Barton attends. There he watches as the catchy “Save the City” song is performed, which is a somewhat accurate retelling of the events in The Avengers.
“Save the City” and the overall concept of Rogers: The Musical was a huge hit with Marvel fans. Many begged Disney to turn the concept into an actual theatre show. Disney eventually responded by bringing the show (albeit not a full length production) to the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure Park.
The show is currently scheduled to run June 30 through August 31, 2023, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the show extended if it proves to be a hit.
