Video: Stitch caught a ride on the PeopleMover at the Magic Kingdom

The new year is off to a great start for Experiment 626. Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom caught a rare sight as Stitch joined a family on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover for a ride around Tomorrowland.

The Twitter video below caught a quick glimpse of the fun.

It’s extremely rare to see characters at Walt Disney World joining guests on attractions. This is more common at Disneyland, but even then it’s usually limited to Alice and The Mad Hatter taking an occasional spin on the Tea Cups. We’re not sure we can remember the last time a character rode the PeopleMover.

We love seeing the characters at Walt Disney World have a bit more freedom with their guest interactions. Though there’s nothing wrong with a classic meet and greet, these are the types of interactions that will live on with guests long after they leave the park. It’s also a ton of fun to see even if you aren’t the guests who were along for the ride.

More of this, please!
