The ‘Disney Fab 50 Character Collection’ will add golden character statues around Walt Disney World in honor of its 50th anniversary. Disney has released a new video showing how the sculptures are being created ahead of the anniversary on October 1, 2021.
The statues are bigger than we expected!
This behind-the-scenes look is really interesting. The sculptures truly are works of art. We would have preferred all of the characters to be a surprise and not promoted so heavily, but we can’t blame Disney for wanting to show them off.
Disney has not said when the statues will begin appearing in the parks. They should appear soon as October 1 quickly approaches.
