Video: See how Disney takes care of their animals during the Walt Disney World closure

Updated:

Walt Disney World is closed to guests for the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t mean the parks and resorts are sitting completely idle. Disney is still maintaining its property during the closure, and that includes taking care of all of the animals who call Walt Disney World home.

A dedicated team of cast members continue to take care of the animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, following local and federal guidelines while performing their responsibilities.

It’s always fun to look behind the scenes at Walt Disney World, particularly now when the parks and resorts are closed. We also like the idea of Disney sharing more stories about their animals during these crazy times. Hopefully more videos featuring the animals of Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge come out in the near future.
