The ending of Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios features a triumphant Mickey Mouse on top of the mountain, conducting a series of fountains and fireworks. It’s a great scene, but a recent show suffered a major problem as Mickey’s head came off.
Warning – If you want to maintain the magic, don’t watch the video below. Consider it Not Safe for Magic.

The Tweet above, which is in French, is loosely translated by Microsoft (so take it for what it’s worth) to say:
“He must have been very scared… Keep young children away: Mickey had an accident last night during #Fantasmic at #WaltDisneyWorld. His head almost fell during the final scene, while he was doing magic tricks. It took a little! ????”
Thankfully, Mickey’s head didn’t fall off the mountain, but it did take some time for the performer to correct the situation. Clearly something went wrong with how the head was secured.
