Video: Learn about the design details of the Disney Wish

Disney Cruise Line has released a new video highlighting the design elements of the Disney Wish. The video showcases Imagineering cast members and the decisions they made throughout different areas of the ship. The overall theme of enchantment appears to be the guiding element found around the Disney Wish.

The video includes a brief look inside the AquaMouse water ride, the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, and more.

While some of this information was covered during the original reveal of the Disney Wish, there’s some fun new items.

The AquaMouse appears to be a blend of the AquaDuck ride found on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Screens inside the tube will tell the story of a new Mickey Mouse short “Scuba Scramble.”

We also have a closer look at the technology used in Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge. Disney released more info on the Star Wars lounge earlier this week, saying guests will be whisked around the galaxy to numerous locations.

Finally, we have a bit more info on the youth clubs on the Disney Wish. There’s isn’t a ton of new details here, but it does look like the primary elements are screen based. The youth clubs appear to be quite large, so it’s possible Disney has more to reveal.

Overall, there’s still a lot to be revealed on the Disney Wish. Specifically, we still don’t know too much about the adults-only areas on the ship. We also don’t know what Disney has designed for quick-service dining areas on the Disney Wish. We look forward to learning more in the future.
