Video: Jabari, the two-month-old giraffe, joins Kilimanjaro Safaris

Guests visiting Kilimanjaro Safaris in January 2019 were treated to a special surprise as a giraffe calf was born on the savanna. Just about two months later, the calf, named Jabari, has officially joined the rest of the giraffes at Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Jabari is now seven feet tall and has been spending time backstage bonding with his mother Mara. Now he has made his public debut!

Jabari means “brave” in Swahili and it appears this young giraffe is living up to his name. He showed no fear or hesitation when exploring the savanna for the first time.

Guests can see Jabri the next time they ride Kilimanjaro Safaris.
