Video: Guests jump onstage at Carousel of Progress, one collapses in bizarre incident

There was a strange incident tonight at the Carousel of Progress at the Magic Kingdom. Two guests reportedly jumped onstage during the first act of the attraction, with one trying to break the set’s window before collapsing to the ground.

Guests filmed the incident and speculated that the one who collapsed appeared to be under the influence.

One guest took to Twitter to talk about what happened.

This is a weird situation even for Disney. The video provides more questions than answers about what transpired. It’s possible the second individual was trying to get the first to return to his seat, but we can’t say for certain without seeing the full incident.

Thankfully, initial reports have indicated that the Carousel of Progress didn’t suffer any serious damage and shouldn’t require an extended closure for repairs. The attraction is adored by Disney fans as it was originally created by Walt Disney himself for the 1964 New York World’s Fair.
