The 2018 Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Annual Meeting featured a variety of announcements and discussions. Perhaps the most interesting was the announcement of future refurbishments that are coming to several Disney Vacation Club resorts.
Based on the calendar below, six different DVC properties will either have complete or partial refurbishments between 2019 and 2022. This includes four resorts at Walt Disney World – Saratoga Springs, The Villas at Grand Floridian, The Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge and the Villas & Bungalows at the Polynesia Resort.
The resorts listed in blue will receive a full refurbishment while the ones in green will receive a partial refurbishment.
Details on the refurbishments haven’t been announced at this time. One would expect that the full remodels will feature completely new designs for the existing rooms while the partial updates may only include changes to furniture or appliances.
One significant change is coming to the bathrooms. The new DVC rooms will adopt the shampoo and conditioner dispensers that have been seen already in several Disney World resort locations.
