Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will reopen on March 17, 2019 following its annual refurbishment. The water park will be celebrating its 30th season and will have some special St. Patrick’s Day fun for guests on opening day.
The St. Patrick’s Day activities will include green beer, frozen green piña coladas and a unique duck hunt in the Castaway Creek lazy river.
Guests will find 500 St. Patrick’s Day-themed rubber ducks floating around the lazy river. Out of the 500 ducks, 30 are marked with a special hidden Mickey logo. If a guest finds a duck with a hidden Mickey, they can redeem it for a free Mickey Mouse ice cream bar.
While the rubber ducks and green beverages are just for opening day, Typhoon Lagoon promises to offer plenty of wet and wild fun all summer long.
